TSO instructors will push the student-operator beyond their self imposed physical and mental limits, developing strong team unity (camaraderie). TSO is divided into four color phases (White, Brown, Blue and Black), each designed as a progressive stepping stool for the next. Student Operators must pass each phase to be eligible for the next. Operators that resign or do not pass a phase are allowed to retake the phase once. Operators are assigned to Tac-U (Tactical Units) during the first day and are expected to remain with their respective Tac-U for the duration of the phase.

All phases are three days long. It is recommended for the Student Operator to be in good physical shape. Running, lifting, squatting, crawling, jumping are part of every phase. At the completion of each phase operators receive a completion certificate and a limited T-shirt. There will be an award issued to the standout individual and team of the class.

At the conclusion of the final phase, operators will receive a certificate of graduation, limited graduation T-Shirt and an award. Student Operators receive gear and training clothes corresponding to each phase. Lunch and water will be provided throughout. Lodging accomodations will be recommended.

Schools are conducted in classified locations throughout the year in Florida. All operatives must complete the registration proccess.
